DeKalb County Transit planning kicked off in 2018 with Commissioner Gannon on the hearing committee along with representatives from DeKalb County Cities, MARTA, G-Dot and many others, committed to keeping DeKalb in a position to lead transit into the future with a comprehensive vision.

This initiative is creating a 30-year plan for transit investments within available funding that address DeKalb’s mobility challenges. It will also help to enhance future development opportunities, and improve the quality of life within each of DeKalb’s cities and unincorporated communities, both north and south.

This year, we are rolling out concentrated public and stakeholder engagement meetings as we refine and finalize the DeKalb County Transit Masterplan. Learn more about the masterplan here. The following public house meetings will be held this month:
