The Food Bank is currently working with our partner network, including local school systems, to assess how they can support the community through the current COVID-19 situation. They are purchasing additional food to help with emergency food distributions.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank has launched their new “Text for Help ” SMS platform to assist those children, families and seniors who need access to food during the current crisis of the COVID-19 coronavirus. This easy-to-use phone-based program enables its users to locate the nearest food pantries simply by sending a text.

Text “FINDFOOD” for responses in English or “COMIDA” for responses in Spanish to 888-976-2232 to get locations near you. *Standard Carrier Message and Data Rates May Apply, based on your cell phone carrier.
